SIPPIO’s goal is to help partners take out the garbage when delivering UCaaS to their customers.
That was the message from Steve Forcum, SIPPIO’s director of marketing and program management, during a Channel Partners TV (CPTV) interview.
“Our core principle is that we want to make technology easy,” Forcum said. “We want to increase accessibility for channel partners to offer their customers a solution that doesn't have all of the technical mumbo jumbo garbage that this industry tends to kind of layer on.”
To do that, Sippio built an automated Azure-based communications platform that can be quickly turned on. “There’s no tons of professional services required to get up and running, our quoting experience is as easy as shopping on Amazon. It’s fast to turn on, like signing up for Netflix,” he said. “We built it to be flexible.”
The SIPPIO platform works with Microsoft Teams or Zoom, helping channel partners tap into those lucrative markets. “We’re a solution for partners looking to turn teams from obstacle … to seeing it as an opportunity.”
Forcum added that there is more opportunity in the communications world than many realize as contracts signed during the pandemic come up for renewal.
“It’s really an exciting growth space,” he said. “A lot of partners think that this is a tapped out mine, there’s nothing more to dig for because there's no gold down there, because it's not 2020. But what people don't realize, and what channel partners are starting to see, is a lot of those pandemic era contracts are coming up for renewal, and those standalone systems, whether it was on-premises or cloud, a lot of those customers are saying ‘I've got Teams. Why am I spending extra over here?’ We’re offering partners the ability to reinvigorate this market with a solution that pays them more.”
