Data-Driven AI Insights from Techaisle

Everyone is asking you what you’re doing with artificial intelligence. At Channel Partners Conference & Expo, a well-respected analyst will tell you what you should be doing with AI.

Techaisle chief global analyst Anurag Agrawal will present data-driven insights during his March 25 keynote session “AI Market Leadership: A Playbook for Scaling Success.” Based on thousands of interviews with channel leaders, Agrawal has developed a roadmap for using AI as an enabler and a disruptor. He has built up a wealth of knowledge around the technology and the market, and he’ll share that with CP Conference attendees.

“We don’t just talk about the channel,” Agrawal said of Techaisle. “We live it.”

We caught up to Agrawal for a preview on his session, some advice for MSPs looking to cash in on AI, and his early impressions of DeekSeek.

CP: Tell us about Techaisle. What is your main focus, and how do you stand out with so many analyst firms out there today?

Agrawal: Techaisle isn't just another analyst firm. We're a global powerhouse of data-driven insights, laser-focused on the technology market across SMB, midmarket, enterprise, and the critical channel partner ecosystem. Founded in 2008, we don't just report on trends – we decode them. Our unique strength lies in our holistic approach. We connect the dots across diverse technology areas, providing a 360-degree view of buyer personas, their IT adoption journeys, and the critical business drivers fueling their decisions. From cloud computing and managed services to the transformative power of AI and digital transformation, our research is both cutting-edge and deeply practical. And unlike other firms, we don't just talk about the channel – we live it. With a massive, proprietary network of over 350,000 channel partner respondents and 2.5 million business decision-makers worldwide, we deliver actionable intelligence that empowers IT suppliers to not only navigate the competitive landscape but to dominate it. We don't just offer insights; we provide the roadmap to winning in the tech market.

CP: Your Channel Partners Conference session will be data driven. Without giving away the actual numbers, what types of data will you present?

Agrawal: This isn't just another AI presentation; it's a data-fueled roadmap to partner success in the age of intelligent technologies. Attendees will discover how leading AI partners differentiate themselves, gaining data-backed insights into building trusted advisor relationships, including research on customer preferences for engagement and communication. The session will uncover successful lead generation approaches in the AI space and explore how to align sales and marketing for maximum impact. Furthermore, it will delve into the critical role of marketing and customer understanding, presenting data on effective tactics like thought leadership and content marketing. Participants will learn how account-based marketing and high-touch support contribute to customer retention and expansion through concrete examples. Finally, the immense potential of ecosystem partnerships will be explored, with data revealing how collaboration can amplify reach and accelerate growth in the AI market.

CP: What’s the best advice you can give MSPs about using AI?

Agrawal: MSPs should view AI as both an enabler and a differentiator. To maximize the potential of AI solutions, MSPs should invest in AI-driven tools for predictive analytics, task automation, and enhanced customer support. Developing vertical expertise by tailoring AI solutions to specific industries ensures measurable business outcomes for clients. Client education is crucial, helping them understand AI's practical benefits while addressing concerns about cost and complexity. A strategic approach involves starting with small, targeted pilot projects that solve immediate challenges, while simultaneously planning for scalable deployments as confidence and experience grow.

CP: What are the biggest misconceptions about AI?

Agrawal: Several key misconceptions surround the topic of artificial intelligence.  One common belief is that AI inevitably replaces jobs; however, while automation may streamline some repetitive tasks, AI's primary role is to augment human capabilities, empowering individuals to make better, more informed decisions.  Another misconception is that AI is exclusively for large enterprises.  In reality, small and medium-sized businesses can equally benefit from AI by leveraging cost-effective tools specifically tailored to their needs and budgets.  The perceived complexity of AI implementation is also often overstated.  With the rise of pre-built models and readily available cloud-based services, deploying AI solutions has become significantly more accessible than in the past.  Finally, the idea that AI guarantees an immediate return on investment is misleading.  Achieving success with AI hinges on carefully aligning it with clearly defined business objectives and ensuring its proper integration with existing processes, requiring strategic planning and execution.

CP: What are your early impressions of DeepSeek?

Agrawal: DeepSeek immediately strikes me as a promising innovation, perfectly positioned to capitalize on the growing demand for data-driven decisions.  Its emphasis on advanced analytics and actionable intelligence suggests a powerful ability to unlock hidden insights within complex datasets. A critical consideration, of course, will be robust security measures to protect sensitive data throughout the process. The key to its success, I believe, will be seamless integration with existing workflows and, crucially, intuitive usability for non-technical users. If DeepSeek can achieve this delicate balance, while also ensuring top-tier data security, it has the potential to be a game-changer for both SMBs and large enterprises.  Of course, rigorous testing will be essential to determine its true scalability and adaptability across a wide range of real-world applications.
