Channel veteran Jeff Winnett has joined CX platform vendor 8x8 as VP of North America channel sales.
In a LinkedIn post, Winnett said he did his due diligence on 8x8 before taking the job.
“I've spent my career in the channel because it's always changing and no two partners are alike,” Winnett wrote. “Before I accepted this role, I called a number of 8x8 partners. What I heard about the team, the product, and the company told me this is a place that can deliver the best partner program in the industry, which is what will be an immediate priority of mine.”
The 8x8 Platform for CX combines Contact Center, Unified Communications, and CPaaS APIs. It integrates AI at every level.
Winnett had been Americas GM of Wildix since September 2025. He previously held channel executive roles at Fusion Connect, RingCentral, Honeywell International, Vonage and other companies in a career spanning more than 25 years.

Winnett described 8x8 as a channel-first company. “Plenty of companies say it,” he wrote. “8x8 acts on it, and I want partners to feel it in every interaction: easy to do business with, honest about what we commit to, and focused on helping them grow.”
“To our North American partners: let's talk,” Winnett wrote. “I'd love to hear how you built your business, and how 8x8 can come alongside of you to increase your probability for continued success.”
8x8 also named Emily Masterton VP, EMEA sales and channel. The moves come two weeks after 8x8 named Jamie Snaddon SVP and Chief Strategy Officer and Nerea Gandarias managing director, EMEA, succeeding Snaddon.
