Through an acquisition of her tech advisor (TA) firm, industry veteran Bana Qashu has joined ARG as VP of marketing and strategic growth.
Qashu, who chaired the inaugural Channel Partners Conference TA CEO track in April and will co-chair the 2027 track, is well known in the tech industry. ARG acquired the assets of BanaTech Consulting, the TA and channel strategy firm Qashu started in 2025.
Qashu will lead ARG’s marketing strategy and business development teams. Her role includes expanding strategic and referral partnerships, strengthening supplier and channel relationships, developing new routes to market, and creating programs that translate ARG’s growing ecosystem into measurable pipeline and revenue opportunities.
Qashu and ARG CEO Mike Shonholz both referred to her relationship building experience when announcing the deal last week.
“I’ve spent my career building relationships and finding ways to connect people, capabilities and opportunities across this industry,” Qashu said. “ARG has built an incredible foundation, but what excites me most is what comes next. There is a tremendous opportunity to bring marketing, business development, strategic and referral partners and the broader ARG ecosystem together around a common growth strategy. I’m excited to work alongside Mike and my colleagues on ARG’s executive leadership team to help turn that opportunity into measurable results.”
Shonholz said: “Bana is exactly the type of leader we want to add as we build ARG for its next stage of growth. “She understands our industry, has built meaningful relationships throughout the channel, and brings an entrepreneurial mindset to connecting strategy with execution. More importantly, she understands that marketing, partnerships and business development ultimately need to translate into growth. Bringing those functions together under Bana gives us another experienced leader focused on expanding the ARG platform.”
The move is part of ARG’s drive to build a national TA platform beyond its current reach in the Washington DC area. ARG doubled the size of its managing partner program within two months of receiving a strategic investment from private equity firm Bear Creek Partners. In June, ARG added Alexander Moore as VP of corporate development and Brett Pavitt as managing director.
Qashu spent eight years at Avant and one year as EVP of strategic partnerships at national TA Amplix before founding BanaTech in 2025. She has known ARG founders Greg Praske and Bill Power for more than a decade.
Before starting BanaTech last year, Qashu cited the importance of building personal connections in the tech industry.
“The personal connections we establish in our channel are invaluable,” she said. “In a landscape where technology can often feel impersonal and transactional, fostering relationships allows us to better understand the unique challenges and goals of our customers. This insight enables us to tailor our solutions to not only meet their immediate needs but also to anticipate the future.”
