CPTV: Tune in, Learn how to Reduce Energy Bills

In this CPTV interview, I spoke with Tune CEO Sarah Heimer about how her energy tech company is helping channel partners reduce energy costs. That’s an issue everyone seems to grapple with today.

“Everybody is under pressure to figure out how to cut energy costs while maintaining operational efficiency,” she said. “They're trying to solve that to increase profit margins on the bottom line. Tune has several energy technology solutions that we apply to help executives and businesses meet those needs.”

Those solutions include energy-saving technologies across refrigeration, HVAC, and electrical systems – systems found in almost every business.

“As the cost per kilowatt-hour continues to rise, we really have to start addressing how to decrease consumption — and that's exactly what Tune does,” Heimer said. “We help you decrease your consumption and, as a result, your overall costs.”

Technology isn’t the entire answer to reducing energy costs. Heimer said a big part of Tune’s value is the education it provides customers. “Our approach — in the majority of conversations with partners and customers — is rooted in education,” she said. “We help customers understand the challenges they're facing and align our solutions to address those issues. Our partners really embrace that. Many of them come from the network world, so working in the energy efficiency and energy technology space is new for them. We help educate our partners as they're educating their customers, and it really is a win-win for everyone.

“When you come in with Tune, you're having a different conversation than you've been able to have before.”

Tune will have those conversations on the Expo Hall floor at Channel Partners Conference next week. It will conduct six-minute educational sessions that partners can register for. Tune will also give away AirPods at every session – an appropriate prize from a company called Tune.
