FCC’s Gomez Warns of Free Speech Attacks

FCC proposes new rules to speed 5G deployment
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) voted to expedite deployment of towers and other mobile connectivity facilities, “supercharging the deployment, densification and upgrading of wireless networks.” The vote is expected to accelerate the buildout of wireless infrastructure, with plans to update rules so states and local lawmakers cannot unlawfully block 5G or future 6G deployments. Study Finds AI Isn’t Killing Jobs Yet
New research from Yale finds AI has yet to have any meaningful impact on the U.S. labor market. The Ivy League researchers determined that the rate of job change is slightly higher since the launch of ChatGPT 33 months ago compared to computers and the internet but by less than one percentage point.
