Cloudli: Security is ‘Non-negotiable’

In this Channel Partners TV (CPTV) interview, I spoke with Cloudli SVP of sales Charinna Kushnir about the communications provider’s services. She emphasized the importance of security, especially in industries such as health care and financial services, and Cloudli’s goal of keeping things simple for partners.

Cloudli will have a booth at Channel Partners Expo April 13-16 at Las Vegas.

“What we're finding in the marketplace with our customers and partners, is that security is a non-negotiable,” Kushnir said. “It has to be addressed with every application, whether that be data transfer or voice or in our case, in our secure T.38 faxing.”

We also talked about Cloudli’s strategy of “overserving the underserved,” and how that applies to its SMB customers.

“We designed that phrase with the SMB in mind, because that is the sector that absolutely gets underserved the most,” she said. “So while we are enterprise in our faxing product, we are SMB in our hosted voice and our UCaaS offering, and we want to make sure that those customers are getting the same level of attention and service as an enterprise customer. So whether it's two seats or 2,000 seats, we are delivering that same very high level of project management, deployment, communication, and ultimately clean implementations.”

Kushnir said Cloudli tries to stand out in a crowded commirunications market by making it easy for partners to work with the company.

“Not only is the space crowded, it’s loud,” she said. “It’s very loud. So we want to make sure that our actions speak louder than our words, and that we are giving those partners an easy way to engage with us, so that we can deliver what we promise. We want to make sure that working with us is simple, and that our deployments and our implementations are seamless. That is a big part of who we are at Cloudli.”

You can visit Kushnir at the Cloudli booth at Channel Partners Expo. She said visitors to the comms vendor’s booth can enjoy a coffee cart, cocktails and “maybe a bit of a throwback moment with us, reminiscent of their youth, maybe something that they saw on TV when they were young.”
