CPTV: Luware Wants to Orchestrate Your Microsoft Teams

In this CPTV interview, I spoke with David Fischer, chief sales officer of Luware, a Swiss-based company that sells AI-based CX platform for Microsoft Teams.

Luware has 1,200 global customers but has been in the U.S. for only six months and is looking to expand its presence. The company will be at Channel Partners Conference and Expo April 13-16 in Las Vegas.

“We try to be the platform on the platform. If a customer is relying on Teams, and they're moving from an on-prem solution to Teams, they're already heavily invested into the Microsoft ecosystem,” he said. “So we wanted to be as flexible as possible. We integrated [Azure] AI Foundry of Microsoft, but we also let you bring your own AI solution. We want to be the orchestrator, for whatever your customer is using.”

David Fischer

Fischer said Luware’s channel-first approach makes it easy for partners to onboard and support customers.

“We want to focus on building out our platform and giving our channel partners the chance to deliver the best service to their customers,” he said. “It takes a partner that does the onboarding themselves -- with our without our involvement --probably an hour or two. So it's very easy for a channel partner to take over the full experience and build it out for their customer, and we pride ourselves to fill all the gaps one could have if they solely want to rely on Microsoft Teams for the customer experience.”

Luware will demonstrate its platform at Channel Partners Conference. “We think usability is as important as functionality, and it needs to be simple, it needs to be understandable, it needs to be tangible, and it needs to have a clear ROI,” Fischer said. “I think if you give us 30 minutes, then we should be able to give you the full picture.”
